The reason why this initiative is being done? Let's look at some data together. In Italy at the end of 2015 we had around 18 million people who had made at least one online purchase in the last three months. Of these, almost 12 million had bought at least once a month. However, counting around 30 million Italians who use the internet, of these we have around 12 million who in the same period (last quarter of 2015) have not bought via the web and around 6 million of these declare they have never bought online.
The reasons for this non-purchase are various (unfamiliarity with electronic payments, little trust in shipping services, etc.), but every time the advantages for the consumer are strong and indisputable (such as discounts, timed offers, exclusive products or unobtainable in traditional shops) Mobile Phone Number even the most reluctant are convinced and buy online.
